GREEN TEAM COMMITMENT FORM

The Green Team will participate in a two-week hands-on training program to learn about the natural environment, climate change, and the benefits of trees. The Green Team will also learn about tree preservation and planting, so they will be able to go into neighborhoods to educate homeowners about the value of planting and preserving trees.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US?

✓ Six 3 -4 hour training sessions Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the weeks of July 15 and 22.

✓ Outdoor learning about trees, green spaces, and the natural environment.

✓ A $400 stipend for participating. $300 to be paid at the end of the training sessions, $50 for helping to recruit neighbors to have trees planted or preserved and $50 to help plant trees.

✓ Other perks, such as free meals, gift certificates and field trips.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?


✓ Attend all 6 training sessions unless you have an accepted excuse.

✓ Commit to caring for the environment and climate change.

✓ With a knowledgeable adult volunteer, commit to talking to Fifeville and Woolen Mill neighbors

about planting trees and or preserving trees.

✓ During the training sessions, put your phone away.

✓ Commit to planting trees in the Woolen Mills neighborhood.
